An approximate translation, to the best of my abilities, mistakes are not intentional,
Please let me know if there is something you’d like me to correct

I would like to convey my well wishes to all Citizens of Israel and the Druze communities, with Joyous Festival greetings, upon the occasion of Eid Al Adha the Festival of the Sacrifice.

I know a lot about the Festival and its implications to both our faiths, Druze and Jews. What captivated me most, was the similarities between the Jewish tradition and the Druze Tradition. According to the Druze tradition, this festival, connected with “the end of days” requires accountability by each person, of their deeds, both good and bad. A concept I am extremely familiar, because among us (Judaism) on Yom Kippur, we’re essentially doing the same thing.

Besides for this (and it goes without saying), there is also a strong bond between us. There is the bond of Life and to my distress, unfortunately, the bond of our sustained losses. Yet, we are all relatives of the same family. A family that has experienced tremendous hardships, yet has arisen to defend its birthright, with dignity, and I am most proud to be the Prime Minister of each and every one of you.

I Bless you all, with a Joyous Festival and the continuing bond of brotherhood.

In our business, The customer is King

Growing up, I fondly remember a poster hanging in my Dad’s office, with a magnificent Lion in the picture’s background. The sign on the poster reads “In our Business, the Customer is King.”

When I started Einfal , I tried very much to stick to this principle. I believed the best incarnation of this policy in the business of web-publishing, was to empower the client and invite their ideas on the site. As a web-developer, Despite designing, creating, programming etc. I’d listen to our client’s input as much as possible. I’d ask them if they’ve seen a concept they’d like to see on their site, be it in design, functionality, whether they’d want to contribute their own imagination to the project.

Sometimes I do find this approach, crippling. I find that by being accommodating, some of our clients feel they are being handed the initiative, whilst some going as believing, hidden Picasso has emerged.

Not that it’s a bad thing. Save for when the outcome is something like this

How your website failed

I find it hard at this stage, to talk our budding artist down from his/her perch.Besides for developing, I like to think of myself as somewhat of a “professional web surfer.” We’re constantly looking around, reading up on the latest web trends, trying to make our sites cross browser/platform friendly. In plain English, I explain that not every user is on the same apparatus as the client. Windows (in a few flavors), Browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome, safari etc..) Desktop/laptop/Tablet/Mobile. Creating the site through not only the eyes of our clients, but seeing the end result through the eyes of their targeted market.

Do you find professional business owners marveling at their office building structure or landscape? Are they admiring the shiny new logo placed on the building’s exterior?
They may steal a glance in passing, on their way indoors, building their companies reputation and brand through their work ethic, while leaving construction and landscaping work to the relevant professionals.

Last time you second guessed your orthopedic surgeon’s diagnosis, with your Google findings, how impressed was he? By your totally cool new Iphone, I meant, silly!

Do you recall what happened last time you took your architect to task, based on your brilliant aesthetics, that still has you wondering until this day, what happened to your honorary doctorate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology?

Pisa – Courtesy of Wikipedia

And so, here’s my handy suggestion. We’ll sit down with you, we’ll gather your ideas, we’ll review the websites you like etc.. We might comment and show you various web trends and new media; we might suggest certain elements are antiquated or not best suited for you. We’ll listen to you as best we can, review, edit change etc.. But overall, we’ll do our best for you, because your interests are our primary concern.

In our business the Customer is King. But running a country is no easy thing. So every king forms a Government and appoints a Prime Minister!!
